Precision Measurement and Design Inc. located in Markham, Ontario is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory who provides dimensional measurement and calibration services to different industries. Our clients are automotive, aerospace, medical, and many other manufacturing companies. We provide CMM programming/ measurement, 3D scanning inspection, fixture calibration, gauges calibration, measurement instrument calibration, reverse engineering, and CAD design.
Precision Measurement and Design not only CMM program and measure parts but also provide offline CMM programming to their customers. The programs then can be run at customer plant using their own CMM.
With our portable laser scanner, we are capable of performing on-site measurement. This measurement can be then used for inspection or reverse engineering purposes.
In our metrology lab, we perform calibration on variety of gauges such as block gauge, pin gauge, ring gauge, thread gauge, plug gauge, snap gauge, etc. We also perform calibration on caliper, micrometer, height gage, test indicator, dial indicator, thread wire, laser scan micrometer, etc.
We also can measure cylindrical parts with high accuracy and report different features such as roundness, cylindricity, straightness, and parallelism.
Another area of our expertise is providing CAD design services for tooling, checking fixtures and different parts for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical.
